Savvy
Savvy is an exceptionally talented dog from our Moxie x Odin breeding. She is a big running, hard charging bird dog with eye popping style and intensity. She has a huge nose, fantastic search, natural retrieve, natural honor, and is very loving and cooperative. Like her brother Riggs, she was finding, pointing, and retrieving wild birds like a pro before she was even a year old. The only thing more impressive than her ability on wild birds, might be her prospects in field trials. At less than 2 years old, she was the youngest GWP champion in NSTRA history and has already become a 7X NSTRA Champion. She was also the Indiana Region NSTRA High Point Champion in her first 3 seasons in a row. Nationally, she placed in the final 4 of the NSTRA Trial of Champions 2 years in a row. She has serious ground speed and is able to move effortlessly across the field. Coupled with quick and snappy moves, she can hit a bird with jaw-dropping style. Even though she is ferocious in the field, she has a great off switch just like her mother. She is biddable, sweet, and affectionate. Absolutely a pleasure to have around the house. She is a smaller framed dog and is good looking with a tight coat and good furnishings. She is OFA certified for thyroid and tested well through PennHip at R .30 L .25. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this little girl. Puppy price $2500.

Description from Bachman Bay Kennels:
Big B has long legs and a strong muscular build. He has an ideal coat for hunting that is dense and harsh. He is an incredibly sweet dog with a very happy temperament and the strongest off-switch of any wirehair puppy we have ever had.
Big B spent his first hunting season chasing prairie birds in Montana and North Dakota and had a great first season. During his very first hunt on September 1st at only 5 months old he found, pointed, and retrieved a Hungarian partridge. He has a lot of natural point and massive run that worked well in the prairies, and he would pound through cattails to pin elusive roosters. In open country he is consistently pushing to the farthest ridges and has fun doing it. Big B paralyzes birds and has done fantastic on quail, huns and chukar in Oregon during his second season.
Big B hit the horseback field trial circuit in 2022 with a vengeance. He was ranked as the #2 puppy/derby dog in the national GWPCA rankings, narrowly missing the top spot. He won the GWPCA National Derby Classic and took 3rd in the National Field Futurity. We will never forget watching him lap the course on the Prairie Wind Ranch, at one of the most difficult and steep field trial grounds in the United States.
A first-time handler, handled Big B in his Natural Ability test at only 5 months old. While he didn’t score his best (P3), we decided not to re-run him and focus on hunting and field trials. He still has his moments lacking cooperation, but he loves retrieving and water as he has matured.
In the AKC show ring, he dominated every show he entered winning 4 majors in a row. We hope to finish him this spring.
Big B’s sire Gus is the top producing AKC field stud in all history. He was a dual champion and has produced more FC, AFC, MH puppies than any other wirehair in history. His dam is GCH CH Claddagh Ring it in Sula NA1 UT2 a very talented dog that comes from a mixture of famous field trial dogs from Backwoods kennel and some nice UK imports including Sula's mother Karmin who is the only VC DC wirehair in history of the breed.

Twigg
Twigg is simply a natural bird dog. She is very cooperative with a huge nose and perfect natural retrieve. Eager to please and a joy to train. She is one of those dogs that just finds birds. She is a medium to close range hunter and very durable. She also loves the water, has a great coat, good looks, and is OFA certified. She is out of two of our foundation dogs, Tubbs and Cici. They are some of the best bird dogs we have ever had. Both are NAVHDA NA Prize I 112 dogs and NSTRA Champions. Twigg has produced some great pups in her first litters and we think this cross could be special. She and Riggs are two of our most natural wild bird dogs we anticipate these pups will be bird dogs right out of the box. We decided to repeat this breeding because of the exceptional feedback we received from the first litter. Puppy price $2300.
Riggs
Riggs is a truly special talent. He quickly set himself apart at a very young age by pointing, handling, and retrieving wild birds at just 5 months old. Just like his parents, Odin and Moxie, and his littermate Savvy, his natural ability shined with almost no training whatsoever. He became the complete package at a very young age. His ability to find, point, and handle wild birds is exceptional, and he pairs that with a relentless retrieve and fantastic pursuit on cripples. He has a big nose and a fantastic search with a high head. Then when he needs to, he can put his nose to the ground and track very well. He loves the water and loves to work. And he does all this with great style and intensity. Like his Dam Moxie, he has a huge off switch with a sweet personality and is a pleasure to have around the house. He has a good harsh coat and has proven to be very durable. He has also excelled in field trials by becoming a 4X NSTRA Open Champion and the first GWP to win a NSTRA National by winning the 2026 Purina Endurance Classic. His PennHip score is in the top 5% of the breed at L .20 R .20. He is OFA certified for thyroid. Riggs is from a line of dogs that produces elite talent, and in his first couple breedings, he has produced some of our best young dogs.

3X NSTRA Ch Ghost Point's Lethal Weapon
This is a repeat breeding from a year ago that produced some very talented pups. Racee is the pup we held back from this litter and she has had a phenomenal puppy season. We also received great feedback on the other pups as well. We went to great lengths to secure the rights to this breeding and this will be Libby's last litter before retirement. She was a UFTA Champion and wild bird dog for our friends at Wilson Wirehairs. This is a tight breeding on a proven producer, NFC FC Backwoods Sure Shot Wilson. The first litter was very successful and we look for more of the same with this one. Puppies will go home mid May.
